HOW DO I MAKE MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
You can contact me by phone, email or by using the contact form on the next page. I will usually respond within 24 hours to book your first appointment.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
The number of sessions varies enormously
and depends on the issues you bring, and on your needs and wants. We will discuss this at your first session.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Each 50-minutes therapy session ranges between £40 - £60, depending on your income. I understand counselling is very much needed in all levels of nowaday's society, therefore I do offer low cost counselling. We will discuss your fees in our first session. You will pay your fee
by the bank transfer before every session.
After an initial contact by email or phone, we will
arrange an online appointment, through the agreed media, usually within a week. Prior to the appointment, I will send you a short assessment form, to learn more facts about you. Alternatively, we can fill in this form
in our first session.
LENGTH OF COUNSELLING
As to the length of your counselling therapy, we may initially contract to meet for 8 weeks to see how that works out. As we move towards the end of our sessions, you may decide whether this was
sufficient to you or you want to continue. The
sessions can be agreed on an open-ended basis.
We can always review and discuss this issue later.
The first session is an opportunity to meet online where we can get to know each other a bit more. It will be a space where you can talk about what brings you to counselling and ask questions you may have about the therapy process. You can then decide whether you want to work together and continue with further sessions, although
you may want to think it over for a few days.
Once the decision is made to continue, we will establish a ‘contract’ that
we both feel comfortable with. This will make clear the confidential nature
of the sessions, the cancellation policy and establish our commitment
to working together in regular weekly sessions.
